M-Blokset Drawout Low Voltage Switchgear Cabinet — 380V, Up to 2500A, 73.5kA Peak

M-Blokset is a compact drawout low voltage switchgear cabinet designed for 380V distribution systems. With rated current up to 2500A and peak withstand of 73.5kA, it complies with GB7251.1 and is built around a weld-free 8MF cold-bent steel frame that fundamentally changes how a cabinet is supplied and assembled.

MAIN STRUCTURE

Frame: The 8MF frame is formed from cold-bent steel sections using a welding-free bolted structure. Modular 20mm holes throughout allow flexible component mounting. Because the frame ships flat, you eliminate the freight cost of importing assembled cabinet volume — a cabinet is mostly air, and with M-Blokset you only pay freight on steel sections and components.

Busbar System: ZM-type busbar clamps are moulded in high flame-retardant PPO material, delivering high mechanical strength and insulation performance. The system is rated for peak current up to 73.5kA — a design value based on a matched clamp-and-bar system, not a nominal claim.

Functional Compartments: Main bus, distribution bus, and outgoing circuit compartments are independently separated to prevent fault propagation and ensure safe operation during maintenance.

Module Sizes (housed inside the cabinet): 4M/2 for small sub-distribution (two outgoing circuits in a compact half-width space); 3M for motor control and lighting distribution at 100A–250A; 6M for main distribution and high-load circuits at 400A–630A.

Protection: IP20 to IP54. The cabinet top is fitted with a pressure relief device for arc fault protection — a requirement on industrial sites where internal fault energy must be safely vented.

FAST DEPLOYMENT, LOW TOTAL COST

M-Blokset is designed for panel builders who need to get a production line running quickly without a large upfront engineering investment. Pre-engineered standard unit configurations, a streamlined document package, and matched component kits mean the first cabinet can be assembled in weeks, not months.

Typical Applications

PRIMARY APPLICATIONS
- Motor control and lighting distribution in industrial facilities: factories, pumping stations, processing plants.
- Small to medium sub-distribution boards in commercial buildings, warehouses, and infrastructure sites.
- High-load main distribution feeders up to 630A (6M module).
- Retrofit and upgrade projects where a compact, cost-effective withdrawable cabinet is required.
- Panel builders entering the drawout market who need a fast-start, low-complexity production platform.
- Applications where fixed or plug-in installation options need to be supported from one cabinet platform.
- Industrial sites requiring arc fault protection (top-mounted pressure relief fitted as standard).
- Projects specifying Blokset-compatible drawout construction at 380V up to 2500A.

MODULE CONFIGURATIONS INSIDE THE CABINET
4M/2 — Two outgoing circuits in a half-width, compact space; ideal for small-scale sub-distribution with high circuit density.
3M (100A–250A) — Motor control and lighting distribution; flexible configuration for a wide range of load requirements.
6M (400A–630A) — Main distribution and high-load circuits; robust construction for demanding continuous operation.

WHO BUYS THIS
Panel builders looking for a straightforward entry into the Blokset-style drawout market; distributors seeking a cost-competitive withdrawable cabinet; contractors on projects specifying drawout construction up to 2500A. The weld-free flat-pack frame is especially suited to markets where local sheet-metal assembly is the standard commercial model.

Services

DESIGNED FOR FAST DEPLOYMENT AND LOW TOTAL COST

M-Blokset is built around a production model that gets your assembly line running in weeks, not months — with lean documentation, pre-engineered unit combinations, and support scaled to your output.

1. FLAT-PACK 8MF FRAME FOR LOCAL ASSEMBLY
The weld-free 8MF frame ships as flat steel sections that assemble with hand tools against a drawing. No factory jigs, no welding equipment, no distortion. You eliminate freight on assembled cabinet volume and gain full control over lead time. The same approach that cut a South African distributor's total cost by 40% and lead time from 3 months to 5 weeks.

2. READY-TO-USE PRODUCTION DOCUMENTATION
Streamlined GA drawings, pre-selected BOM, basic wiring diagrams, and a fast-start assembly guide — designed for a panel builder without a full engineering team. Your line can run from week one.

3. PRE-ENGINEERED MODULE COMBINATIONS
Standard 4M/2, 3M, and 6M configurations each come with a matched component kit: rails, interlock, terminals, and labelling. No custom engineering needed for common applications — select the configuration, order the kit, assemble.

4. TWO-TIER COMPONENT OPTIONS

Standard and economy tiers are available for many accessory lines — both fully tested, priced for different project budgets. You decide where to invest and where to save without compromising on safety.

5. LEAN PRODUCTION SUPPORT

We help you set up a lean assembly line for M-Blokset: workstation layout, material flow, basic tooling, and daily output targets. Start with small batches and scale as orders grow — without heavy upfront capital.

6. AFTER-SALES AND SPARE PARTS

Dedicated after-sales support, rapid spare part replacement, and remote troubleshooting. Modules and components held to the same specification for the life of the installation.

7. COMMERCIAL TERMS

FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP, Ex-Works. Trade Assurance, T/T, L/C. Sample modules and frame sections available for fit-up verification before volume orders.

Quality Control

QUALITY CONTROL — SYSTEM-LEVEL VERIFICATION AND 100% MODULE TESTING

M-Blokset quality control operates at two levels: the cabinet system (frame, busbar, compartments) and the individual functional module.

CABINET SYSTEM — DESIGN AND TYPE VERIFICATION

1. 8MF frame squareness and bolt torque verified after assembly; modular hole alignment checked.
2. ZM busbar clamp installation: clamp type matched to bar section; installation torque measured and recorded; system alignment checked against the 73.5kA peak withstand design value.
3. Busbar phase sequence, section, and spacing verified against drawing; all joints torqued to specification and marked.
4. Independent compartment integrity: main bus, distribution bus, and outgoing circuit barriers verified for correct installation and freedom from damage.
5. Arc pressure relief device fitted and unobstructed.
6. Protective circuit continuity: PE bar and door bonding tested; resistance recorded.
7. Dielectric test: power-frequency withstand at rated test voltage for one minute; insulation resistance recorded.
8. Degree of protection: gasket continuity, gland plate, door seal verified against stated IP rating.
9. Final inspection: nameplate, circuit labelling, drawing pack, module schedule, packing integrity.

MODULE LEVEL — EVERY MODULE BEFORE INSTALLATION

10. Shell dimensions and squareness checked against drawing.
11. Isolating contact alignment and engagement depth gauged; contact pressure measured.
12. Three-position operation (Connect, Test, Disconnect) confirmed to latch with indication at each position.
13. Interlock function tested in both directions.
14. Wiring verified against schematic; ferrules, terminal tightness, and labelling checked.
15. Dielectric withstand and insulation resistance recorded.
16. Functional test of feeder logic: starter sequence, protection settings, indication.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ISO 9001 quality management throughout. Incoming material verified on receipt; in-process sampling at frame, busbar, and wiring stages; final inspection before packing. Non-conformances recorded, root-caused, and closed.
